LCD Removal

Before proceeding, you must first remove:

Display Module

Display Back Casing

On the side of the display casing you will notice two U shaped notches. In these notches

there are Philips head screws, two on each side of the display. Remove all four screws.

Remove all the

pieces of tape

holding the thin

metal sheet in

place. The location

of the tape can vary

from model to

model, so use the

picture below as a

guide. Make sure

to remove the

Aluminum tape in

the middle of the

cover as well.
