XDCAM Workflow in Final Cut Pro

2– Navigate to Documents.

3– Click the New Folder button.

4– Name the folder “Joined Clips”.

In the example below, the upper window displays the contents of the first card, while the

lower window displays the contents of the “Joined Clips” folder, which is currently empty.

5– Select the spanned clip(s) from the first card (upper window) and drag to the lower

window. A dialog box will appear:

6– Select Yes (or press Enter).

7– When the copy is complete, perform a software Eject of the SxS card.

8– Remove the SxS card from the reader.
