5 To protect your card, touch the metal part of the power supply case to discharge static

electricity again, as in step 2, and then remove the card from its static-proof bag.

Hold the card by its edges to avoid touching the connector.

6 Align the connector end of the card with the expansion slot.

If your expansion card is

full-length, be sure that

it engages the card guide

in the server’s interior.
